Spin-offs
Proceeds from the sale of company participations will play an increasing role in the balance sheet of Max Planck Innovation in the future.
1)A license based spin-offs is subject to a license, know-how or option agreement with Max Planck Innovation at the time of founding.
2)A scientist spin-offs refers to a new company in which a Max Planck Institute employee is founder, employee or consultant, and that is not subject to a technology license agreement with Max-Planck-Innovation.
3)An experience spin-offs is substantially based on the experience of former Max Planck Institute employees.
4)Exit refers to the sale of equity in a company
